Hosting
This website is hosted by STRATO AG, Pascalstraße 10, 10587 Berlin, Germany. When pages are requested, the web server processes technically necessary data in log files: IP address, date and time, requested address, referrer, browser identification. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and stable operation). Log files are deleted after seven days at the latest. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place.
Analytics with Umami
To understand which content gets read, we use Umami, open-source analytics software
that we host ourselves on our own server in Germany (stats1.kilo-moana.com). No data
is transferred to third parties.
Umami works without cookies and without cross-device recognition. No IP addresses are stored; the IP is processed transiently to determine the country of origin only. What is recorded: the page requested, the referrer, browser and operating system type, approximate screen size, country, and triggered events (for example a click on "Book a call"). This data does not allow conclusions about individual people.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the statistical evaluation of use in order to improve what we offer. Because no information is stored on or read from your device, in our assessment no consent under § 25 TDDDG is required — which is why you see no consent banner here.
Appointment booking
For appointments we link to the external service Cal (cal.eu). You only leave our
website when you click that link; from then on the provider's privacy policy applies. Data
you enter there (name, email address, your notes) is processed by us to prepare and hold
the appointment on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. For anything the provider processes on
its own account, please see their privacy policy. If you would rather not book a slot,
email or phone works just as well.
Email contact
If you write to us, we process your details to answer your enquiry on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. We delete this data once it is no longer needed, at the latest after statutory retention periods expire.
No sharing, no profiling
We do not sell data, run no retargeting, embed no advertising networks and load no fonts, maps or videos from external servers. All fonts and images are served from our own server.
Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; the one responsible for us is the Unabhängiges Landeszentrum für Datenschutz Schleswig-Holstein, Holstenstraße 98, 24103 Kiel, Germany.
